Meritage Centre diary dates for August and September 2010

Assisted computer access
Free computer tuition at the Meritage Centre every Tuesday and Thursday.
Time: 10:00am – 12:00 noon and 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Cost: FREE

Computer classes
Classes are small and cost £20.00 for a six week course on Wednesdays at the Meritage Centre.  Please contact Loraine Simmons on 020 8150 0962 or email loraine.acb@btconnect.com to book a place.

Bridge
From 30 September and every Thursday, 3:00pm to 5:15pm a bridge group starts and welcomes anyone who can already play. Ring 020 8432 1416 to secure your place.

Beginners classes start at the Meritage Centre from 21 September, 3:00pm to 5:15pm and will run every Tuesday thereafter.

The first beginners class is free and is followed by 10 classes at £5.00 per class.  Booking is essential - ring 020 8432 1416.

Nail cutting service
The nail cutting service at the Meritage Centre has been postponed until further notice.

Chiropodist Service - Booking is essential

Cost: £15.00

Mobile hairdresser
There is a hairdresser at the Meritage Centre every Thursday and Friday.  Booking is essential.

Massage therapy and facials
Massage therapy and facials is offered fortnightly on a Friday at the Meritage Centre with effect from 4 June.
10:30am to 1:00pm
Cost:  £10.00

Daphne's Clothes Show
Daphne will be at the Meritage Centre selling fashion wear for the elegant, mature person.
Wednesday, 4 August
11:00am to 1:00pm

Safer Neighbourhoods Team surgery
A chance for all local people to meet the area’s Safer Neighbourhoods Team and to get information and advice on all aspects of personal safety and crime.

The Team will be at the Meritage Centre on the following date:-

Friday, 6 August

Day trips to Southend - Tuesday, 10 and Wednesday, 18 August
